Hiiiii! Long time lurker, first time poster here :)

I just had my hair trimmed back from collarbone to shoulder-ish. I am 2 years in to growing out my hair from shaved, what a journey!

I did the same a few years back, shaved my head down to a 1. It is quite the journey! I'm currently about an inch past CBL after quite a few trims to even up my hemline. Still have some crazy layers (woo postpartum shed!) but I'm getting there!

Almost 19 weeks since I had my nearly WL hair chopped into a bob. I think I'm making decent progress. Thank goodness I didn't go shorter than I did and thank goodness I stuck with a blunt cut. This hairstyle was my starting point last time; it's a very easy style to grow from.

I did have a pixie once when I was younger (13) due to a disastrous haircut mistake. I hated it. I never went in to have it reshaped or anything as it grew out; it was incredibly awkward.

These were taken right after my trim to shoulder about two weeks ago. It was blow dried straight, it's usually quite wavy.

...and I do have an undercut that I love! The only picture I have of it at the moment- lol.

Many of our curly and wavy (and wurly!) members measure stretched, not so much for appearing longer that how the hair appears in natural state, but for consistency (as you know, curls can appear longer or shorter from day to day). It's up to you. Personally I would totally take advantage of the "double length possibility" by having one foot at the longer length thread, one at the shorter length thread, and I would shamelessly call milestones twice :D

I second the request for pics.

Arctic, if my hair was any curlier that is exactly what I would do.
