Sorry Bat dude, for not replying earlier(and others who have mentioned me). So far, nothing new regarding growth. It is depressing, but hope it is something I'm not doing, and not that genetics and age have caught up to me.
Remeasured today after S.C. and still at 18 1/2(trimmed just a bit to lessen tangling ends), and am almost able to get it all in a pony.
Catching up a little...Congrats Bat on the shoulder goal. Looks very full and that you are on a good path. Also, Mrs Oxie (is that correct?), you definitely are going good....I'm uhhh. jealous of where you are and are headed.
Having an interesting series of conversations with a non-long haired 'type' of person, but she has longer hair, and is from the same divorce group I'm in on Facebook. She is nice enough not to be judgemental about my beliefs/wants and I'm trying to see how the outside world thinks of longer haired men in general. Maybe I'm just silly, but for a guy with long hair, who is not a 'rebel' type, I think we are an even smaller 'fringe(no pun intended)' group, that is not understood well. Maybe it is just me worrying too much....
O.R.

Just got to shoulder length! Super happy about that, looking foreward to the next milestone already! Hoping I reach it by my next birthday but I doubt that's realistic

I'd really suggest looking at long hair men groups on face book, you'd be surprised as how many are growing longer hair, sure there are alot who post that they cut their hair off which is distressing, but you shouldn't feel as alone they are mostly younger, but there are a few in the 40+ bracket

I suggest you connect/contact Trav White. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6H...IAmnwoi77hnNIw
I did reach out to him a few times for pointers. He has a whole group dedicated for men's hair and beard growth. Did you have your blood work checked?
You might be lacking in iron or Vitamin D. Just my few cents.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hi, friends! I know I have some posts on this thread hundreds of pages ago but here I am again, trying to get long hair.
Lots of hormonal changes that I'm finally done with and a way-too-short cut in October led me back. I've been hanging out in Chin to Shoulder with a few other recent graduates, with special thanks for turning me onto henna a few weeks ago. My hair is brushing shoulder and thicker than at any point in my adult life (yay!) so my dream is to maintain a thick hemline and get to APL or BSL.
Looking forward to growing with you :)

Welcome to the club!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Reached apl recently, deciding if I want to maintain until my layers and bangs/face frame grow out or wait until bsl. I feel like its going by fast after a big chop above the shoulders at the end of last summer.
