Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Looks great on you, wispe!
Sometimes I want to chop off all my layers, but as my hair is getting longer the urge is slowly fading. I start to feel confortable my - just past collarbone - length. I can wear my hair in a low pony held by a scrunchie. My shortest layers are still slipping after a while, but it is not bother me anymore. :) I can't wait to wear a single english braid again! :)

Beautiful hair wispe
How is everyone doing?
My hair is taking its own schweet time to grow. Feels like a stall some days, and a growth spurt other days. And visually....nada.. same ol' same ol'. I am being impatient, yes.
It feels like it is getting thicker though.. hmmmm
I will trim when the 'no trim, 1st half of 2018' challenge concludes, which is something I am excited for.
Then use my diy growth oil (CurlyPoverbz, anyone?) and hopefully be pleased with my distance to reach APL by year's end.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I actually was at APL with 58 cm, but I trimmed 4 cm yesterday. I just had to, really bad ends... So I'll stay a bit longer. But my hair grew 7 cm in 5 months, that always something.

I totally understand the growth spurt and stalling in the same time. My virgin hair growth 1,5 cm in last month. I measured my length wich is 2,5 cm more than was in last month (i don't know is my april measurment was incorrect or the 6x checked May), and I took a length shot:

What a difference? Lol, nope. It looks painfully the same length. Well, I tried plopping before the picture taken in May and therfore my hair looks wavier or at least bigger horizontally. And a black mess, i know. Hard to see the texture.

I am happy if you feel better now with your fresh ends! I am sure your hemline is much more thicker now! I am at 53,5 cm now and APL is at 58 cm on me too. It would be cool to graduate together! :)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
The length shots ALWAYS look the same when you take them monthly but you’ll see a huge difference when you compare month 1 to say 6 . If you compare monthly you will be disheartened as it looks like 0 growth
I was warned of this get still do it and face the disappointment
But when you look back at photos you can see HUGE differences over a few more months
I couldn’t believe how much my hair has grown over a ear when I thought it had stopped growing
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Lumienkeli, it would be really cool to graduate together! I think your hair is growing faster than mine, but I have my 0.5 cm, and I'm hoping for growth spurt, because it's really warm here, so I might have a chance :D
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Lumienkeli your hair is beautiful! Your colour, texture...
Just gorgeous.
Our growth will come!
Thanks for the motivation fhairyqueen.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Well look at that, I have finally reached APL without even noticing it!
I was a bit sad about my hair since I last posted here (long story short-ish: I cut blunt bangs, then health issues arrived + huge doses of antibiotics caused a guite big hairloss, am probably i instead of ii now), so I stopped obsessing over my hair and have been doing benign neglect since.
Today I noticed my hair (stretched) reaches APL at the front, and got curious about where it reaches at the back,, turns out it finally is APL, even unstretched as well! :cheer::happydance::graduate:
I Wish I could post a picture of my success (still don't know how to do it, lol,,)
My ends have some split ends, and feel a little dry though, so I have not decided if I should do a small trim and maintain this lenght for a while or graduate to the next thread. :)
