Your'e welcome! :)
The fastest my hair ever grew (to me in my head) was when I stopped measuring or taking monthly pictures. I just wore ponytails and twists and lived life. You could try quarterly pictures, I have seen some people do that too. :)

Oh, I heard head banging can slow down growth.
:couch:
My ends were feeling less than pleasant to deal with. They weren't split, but they just felt "grabby" and clarifying didn't help them, so I went ahead and trimmed. I meant to take off a quarter inch, but I seemed to have issues controlling the amount that I was cutting and by the time I got it even, I think I might have taken off just over a half inch. So, that will definitely set back my official date for declaring APL. Oh well....I DO love a perfect hemline! Might clarify again tonight and do a deep treatment. I seem to have oily root/dry end syndrome happening a lot lately. My scalp just feels a bit gunky since I've been using less sulfates.
For those who have curly/wavy hair...do you measure your length with your hair curly or when brushed/pulled straight? I have at least 2-3 more inches when my curls are pulled out
Ugh! I swear, the longer my hair gets the curlier it gets and makes it appear to have reached a growing standstill!!
Stretched I am about an inch away from APL. I hope by this time next year to be just past BSL and headed to waist. Of course, I know better than to count my chicks before they are hatched.
Happy growing everyone.
:cheer:
Many curlies and wavies measure stretched, because curls/waves can look very different from day to day, so stretching is more accurate and consistent.
I only measure wet right out of the shower. My hair is too hard to measure accurately with the waves otherwise. I don't feel like that is cheating or anything because it truly is how long my hair is. Measuring body markers when my hair is wet or dry and stretched is a little different. I like to reach them dry.
