No-heat curls from two twisted knots:

...and updo. I didn't manage to put it up nicely with just bobby pins so I used a larger clip (and a few bobby pins). I messed up the curls a bit in the process so it didn't end up looking very curly, but the curls created some volume at least:

This is very nice updo. It suits you well. I can't do anything much with my hair now. I lost all my bobby pins somewhere and a few of them are stretched and don't hold my hair very much..:(

If I only make two the curls fall more naturally and are larger. More seems to work nicely on longer hair, but two are more comfortable to sleep on as I sleep on my side. I used some mousse in damp hair before making the knots, and then a lot of spray after taking them down.. If your hair doesn't like hairspray I'd use something to give hold beforehand. This is the tutorial I used for the updo. As I said, I had to use a larger clip because I didn't get it to look good with only bobby pins, but she does it beautifully.
By they way, today I met an old friend who has waistlength hair. She wore it down and I asked if I could braid her hair. I made a rope braid and everyone was so impressed, haha. I'm so ready to have long hair! :D

I'm a strong believer in headbands! I like the thick cloth ones with fun patterns and elastic in the back. I like to think they dress up the itty bitty bun I'm able to manage. ;)Quote:
