An update. My hair got at a weird stage where I couldn't really handle it so I asked my mum to cut my hair ends for a thicker hemline.
Still not happy... I got this weird sort of wave. I must have patience.
I'm also thinking about henna-ing it for a slight color difference. Not sure if it suits me though.

Anyways, this is four months growth including a haircut of one or two centimeters. Last picture is taken four days ago. On the first one it's air dried, on the second pic is brushed. But well, it's about the length. I'm closer to APL!! :cheese:

I felt that way starting a few months ago. Probably as soon as I could get it up in a clip. I could stay at this length and like it, I think. I don't think I will stay at this length for now, but at least I have a good point to chop to if I ever get the urge to chop.

Great growth! Your hair looks nice. I think my hair is around the length in your first picture, so thanks for the preview of how long it might be in 4 months.

I suggest doing a strand test before doing henna so you can see how red/orange it will be. Another option is pick a similar color deposit only dye to get over wanting a color change if you think it's just hair boredom.

I tried henna while my hair was short. It was too subtle to be noticeable most of the time, but it made my roots look grayish while I was growing it out (my natural color is a neutral dark brown).

I think I am finally at shoulder! At least the back is. Thank God I didn't have layers put in my hair when I had it chopped in July, so it's easy to wear up which how I wear it most of the time since I hate the haircut.

Going to take a length photo tomorrow once I've washed my hair, hopefully there's been some growth since last month! It's more just wanting the layers to catch up, I think once my length reaches full collarbone I'm going to microtrim for a few months to maintain. I think once my hair is virtually all one length it might actually be thicker than I thought!

I always thought it was the first Thursday of each month.. :confused: But I guess it doesn't really matter!
