I haven't yet.. I hadn't seen it anywhere. I started CO and this one is working pretty well for me, so I'm afraid to mess with it. :p I had a problem with it feeling strange and kind of waxy as well, but I tried spending more time washing it out and it seems better now. Much better than Suave.
Also, my hair feels wonderful after that SMT. :D I wish I could do one every day.

There is so much to talk about rather than how long our hair is each week. Thanks everyone for making it such a fun place to hang out and chat :flower:
Similar for me... Stretched I'm pretty exact BSL, damp I'm APL, but curly it will still take a year to get to APL... So I will stay a while here...:wethree:
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I guess that is one good thing about stick straight hair. Wet, brushed, dry... none of that matters for me. The length is more or less exactly the same for all of those. :P
An odd thing. My hair feels and looks longer after my last mini-trim. How is that possible?! Whatever reason, I will be happy to take it.
I so enjoy reading what everyone is doing with their hair. This is a great thread. :)

Ahhh I love mermaid soaks. I only do mermaid soaks after a treatment of henna, followed by a nice bath with my favorite bath balm. Isn't it funny how some people say that "it gets easier with longer hair," but the treatment and maintenance is a nightmare? Hmmm I've been thinking of getting a blow dryer, but maybe one that just has a cold setting. LHC scared me to the point that I avoid heat, but I could do cold quick blow on my roots:eek:. What brand of blow dryer do you use?

bunnysaur, what is your natural hair color? I used to use sun in when I was in high school and I used to mix it with some lemon juice. hahahaha I thought it could make my dark hair lighter, but I ended up getting a nice golden brown reflection whenever my hair hit the sun. I guess for some people like me, "Sun in" is literally meant for when you are out in the sun, which was the only time I got to enjoy the color.hehehe

tell me about it! As a wurly wavy, I gave up on stretching my hair to determine my hair length. I figure when I reach a length it will be "official" if I reach a length with my hair dry and wurly wavy.:)

It's kind of a light brown. It used to be fairly dark, but it's gotten lighter over time. It's like... Brown. LOL.

Oooh let me know how the brand "Giovanni" is. I've been thinking about that brand, and does it have cones?
Well today is henna treatment day for me and my boo. My boo just finished doing henna on my hair, and I'll be doing his after he clarifies his hair. I just did a straight up yemeni henna treatment, while he is doing 50 percent yemeni and 50 percent Cassia. My boo can't do just yemen henna because it becomes "firey" red for him for 5 days before it settles to a deeper red. He's hoping that with this new ratio he'll gain a strawberry blond shade since his original color is blondish light brown. We'll see.
Henna doesn't do anything for me color wise (only when the sun hits my hairs), except make my hair a lot stronger, even thicker and keeps dandruff or dry skin at bay. I only do it for the health benefits, whereas my boo can do it for color. hehehe
Anyone in here do henna?
