I believe it stands for "Edited To Add"
My mind automatically translates it to "estimated time of arrival" though, and then I have to remind myself it's something else.

What would be the classic wrapping method? :P The easiest way?
ok, you gals inspired me to finally try the sock bun. I'm right at APL length with lots of annoying layers. I think it turned out pretty good! I didn't need to use any bobby pins and it feels very secure. I never wear my hair up, but this will definitely be a go to, to protect my ends, I think.
So here it is:

it looks pretty!
Very pretty, OrganicJewel, I love you hair colour!
Epic sock bun! I like it, and I love your hair color!!
Do you mean for the sock bun? I think I saw one where you pony your hair, then pull the sock down to the end of the length. Divide length in two and tuck into the sock and start rolling the sock and your hair, tucking in the ends and spreading hair around the circle evenly as you go.
thanks :) Now I wonder what my DH will think when he sees I chopped the foot off of one of his sock, heehee
For those of us with sticks (or pencils, or knitting needles) Millyaulait turned me on to this:

A little girl I was working with yesterday touched my ON acrylic hairstick as I was sitting next to her. She says: "Is that a pencil?"
