I am looking forward to that milestone too. My front bits are so chunky...I've had about enough of that. Someday I might get my hairstylist to cut some tiny wispy pieces in front but these chunky chin-length bits are just annoying.

I think I've finally moved into upper back territory. On the back my ends are definitely below my shoulders and in the front my ends are one inch past collarbone. I'm excited. Progress is so nice to notice.
Thought I was at APL but I recently realized, I am not. Not anymore. I've got at least 6 inches straight to make it look APL when curly! So, I'm in! :D
CurlAhead I know how you feel. Before I cut last month I was touching APL when kneeling, but not even close when standing! I was kneeling with a straight back too. When you’re getting close one minute your there and the next you’re not :(
Thanks Kathie! What a great idea for a comparison picture! I'm excited at the prospect :)
I think I have also moved into Upper Back territory, my longest layer at least. My shortest layer will hit shoulder hopefully in a year. Makes me regret trying to change my hair from blue (where it was in the best condition ever) back to brown. At least I had my hair all one length then!
Approximately 2 inches to go until APL... I'm trying VERY hard not to think about my hair at all right now. :) Hopefully the summer weather and quitting my stressful job will all contribute to some nice, healthy growth.
I'm still on "sabbatical" but I wanted to give an update, haha. The jewelry making business has been a good distraction. :D
Hi everyone. :waving: I joined LHC this week even though I've been lurking for about a month. I decided to officially grow my hair out at the beginning of April at that point I had reached collarbone length. I have about 3 inches to go before I hit APL which feels like a lot at this point. Hopefully I won't obsess over how fast it's growing but we'll see. :D
My hair looks like its only at shoulder length but I have a good 2-3 spring in my waves and curls. When stretched I only have 1/2" to go. Do you count from stretched or unstretched? I'm so close....
