Saw a lady in MaccyDs with Brown blunt cut Armpit Length Hair & it was so shiny & healthy & very thick.

I thought thats definitely when hair starts to look 'long' & her hair length is my next hair goal!
How excting! I just hope mine looks half as healthy as hers did when it eventually gets there!

Yes! Especially when the front is also to APL. That's my personal challenge, which I've determined can only be achieved by completely giving up the curling iron, which I did just before NYE.

Thanks Corvana, Wispe, victorian girl and fhairyqueen for your encouraging feedback about measuring when stretched vs curly! I think I'll measure both and allow myself to be happy that, when stretched, I'm at APL, even though I still have a ways to go when curly!

I'll join in for the next few months. :) My hair is now at around 18.5" and APL for me is at roughly 21"-22". My growth is a little bit weird at the moment because normally it is the average 0.5" a month but since the middle of December (if I measured correctly) my hair has grown 0.75". I mean, I would be happy if it would continue like this but if it doesn't, it would be okay as well.

I think I also have 2-3 inches to go . I thought it was two but the towel test makes me think more like 3 to be solidly there
I really need to use a measuring tape and get accurate measurements so I can set realistic goals
It looks like APL length to upper bra strap is 2 inches or less on me .... is that normal ?

WOW! Well done on the growth that’s incredible growth !! Some people like me take a year to get that so congrats :) if you continue with that speed of growth you’ll fly through all the milestones !

Are you on the shorter side? I am only 5'2" and the difference on me is about 2.5 inches. However from the top of BSL to waist for me is about 5". The milestones are never very equal I find. It really depends on the length of your torso.

fhairyqueen, thank you so much! About the APL to upper-BSL distance - I agree with Renora25, it might be your height or just your individual proportions. I'm 5'3 and on me this distance is around 3 inches. Everyone is different:o
