Haha thanks! It's a blessing and a curse, really. Much like waves, curls, and thick hair are, I'm sure!
I found a spreadsheet that someone had posted ages ago (and then was reposted by someone else since the originals disappeared), and according to the formulas and my current growth data, I'll hit classic (50 inches on me, because of my bottom LOL, I'm only 66 inches tall! The front hairline start point also adds 7 inches) in December of 2018. Which... seems like a high speed train haha. I don't really think it will be that fast!! I want more growth rate data to even out the estimates. It was a mental struggle to not measure a week early while I was taking all of the body marker measurements! But it's not time to measure, even if I really really wanna.
But with the current data, my growth projection looks like this:

:agape::thud: That's fiber internet speeds of growth :rollin:

What an awesome spreadsheet, Corvana! So organized, and I love the colors. (Good growth, too!)

Well I can't really take any credit for making it lol. I got it from here http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/...ad.php?t=36275, and the working links are on the last page.
I've got an inkling that somewhere is a mismeasurement. My last one was done like 4 or 5 times, but I don't remember how many times I measured the times before that. My trim was right about 2" exactly (I saved them for test strands LOL), so if M1 and M2 right after the trim are correct, then it's probably M3 that's off by a little bit. Not a ton, as I did in fact cave and measure today and get 18", but probably like 1/4" off or so. But it also could've been a growth spurt, too! That's apparently also a thing. Or this month could be a stall! Heck if I know what's going on LOL. It's not even been 2 full months yet, that's Saturday! XD
Next week is my "real" measurement day, so I suppose I'll see! And I'll see more the next month, and the next...

Congratulations! :DDDD
Corvana, I absolutely love that someone made that. Also, it's super cool to see all the stages marked out! I take it you have a regular schedule for measuring? I've not measured properly yet, although I do measure my root regrowth every so often (works out at just over 1cm a month).
If there is a mismeasurement, I hope you can find it. But I also hope there isn't one because it'd be so cool to see you speed to classic by next Christmas!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
That is sooooo fast, Corvana! Sound almost unreal, will be fun to see your anniversary photos ;) every year it should be quite visibly how much it has grown, comparing to the start-photo!
My hair is still "curling up" at the ends so I can't really judge the growth, I have to wait a few more months till it stops doing that.

Yeah I made one so that I was less likely to just measure every single week LOL. And it ended up working out that my last measurement this year would be on December 31st! Which I thought was super neat, and is helping (mostly) me to actually keep the schedule.
I'm also hoping there was no mismeasurement. That'd just be annoying tbh. But it or a stall or growth spurt are three fully valid options for the seemingly odd numbers. I'll be really sure at the end of the year, because by then I'll have another 7 measurements to average out my growth rate with.
With a 1" growth rate (the number I've been generally going by as a semi-safe guess) I'd hit classic by July 2019, so 2 years from now.

Here is my spreadsheet for my curly hair growth (I have another one for stretched hair). I also added hip, BCL, and TBL milesetones and stopped at classic since that's my final goal.
I was/am skeptical of the time estimate it was giving but when I checked it with my math it was very accurate. I'm still keeping myself from getting my hopes too high though.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I like seeing people's growth rates. It is very inspiring. These spreadsheets are great. I am trying not to measure but only go by body landmarks, since I can get way over-obsessed with numbers :brains::justy:
I don't know if it's due to my latest henna treatment or what, but suddenly, my hair "swings." Like, I can feel it move around when I walk or what have you. Anyway, it is actually starting to ~feel long!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Wow likelikepenny your monthly growth rate is awesome!
Agnes Eliza, that sounds lovely :D And congrats that it's starting to feel long, that's wonderful!

Thank you, I just hope it keeps at this rate. :)
