Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I'm still on track for making APL by the end of September. My profile picture was taken when I joined this community 3 months ago; my hair has grown so much since then.

Looking at my spreadsheet, it seems we'll graduate around the same time!

Hooray! :cheer: :grouphug:

Wow, so close for you two! Yay!
I expect to reach APL dry and unstraightened by December at the latest, unless I have a surprise growth spurt.

Because of my dry curl shrinkage I may end up graduating with you. I've calculated that from damp to dry hair is about three inches of shrinkage but I haven't accounted for flip so we'll see.

I need to keep an eye on that this time around. I don't remember ever noticing that before, but I never really paid enough attention before!

That sounds promising!

Go you! :cheer:
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
If I really do grow an inch a month, then I'll hit APL in 3 or 4 months? I'm making myself wait to measure until next Sunday, so I won't have another data point to see what my growth is actually like lol. All I know is that I had to trim monthly if I wanted my pixie to be tidy, and if I was lazy and waited two or three I'd have very shaggy hair.
I think once my hair is really past my shoulders (CBL is only maybe 2" longer than SL for me) it'll stop being so flippy. The back flips out, and the front flips in! It looks ridiculous. But it can almost all go up into a pony or something so it's not too bad!

Corvana your hair grows so fast! Totally envious over here :D I'll keep my fingers crossed it continues to grow like that.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
My hair is tickling the very top part of my back. That makes me happy :cheer:
