Well, I guess I am back in this thread again. I am unsure if I will grow out past APL. I had been growing my hair to about BSL but lost a lot to anemia and the ends were unbelievably thin. Once I cut it to just below my shoulders it was thick again. I don't want to go through that spirit-crushing experience of having such long thin ends so I am only growing as long as it will grow out healthy and reasonably full. I don't mind fairy tale ends. These were not that.
My hair was cut to just below my shoulders two months ago so I have a loooong way to go. Maybe by this time next year if my memory serves correctly. Shoulder to APL takes quite a while for me.
