My hair is a little past shoulder length. I wish I was able to put my hair in a bun, but it doesn't seem long enough yet.
I'm in with UBL too! I like that.
I was wondering: do most of you use the longest length of your hair to determine length or wait until the bulk of your hair has made that length?
I have an A-line cut that I'm growing out, long in front, rather short in back. My longest hairs are not too far from APL but the bulk of my hair is a couple inches shorter. I haven't decided which to use for measuring, but am leaning toward bulk and wanted to know what everyone else does.
I would go by the bulk!
The lowest and longest layer of my hair reaches below my collar bone when stretched. When curly, it rests right on my shoulder.
I think it depends on the haircut (or lack thereof). Most hemlines have some sort of shape ... a U, V, or straight across. If the longest piece is hanging down beyond that shape then I don't think it counts. If the longest piece is part of the shape then to me it counts.
But ... luckily it keeps on growing regardless of what length I call it, so I'm not feeling urgent about it one way or another. :D
Maddie that cut looks great on you!
Hi, my hair is just past my shoulders at 20" so Im in too, can't wait to its at apl!
welcome summerskye!
The bulk is probably really more important. I guess the A-line cut is good, because it will look longer earlier on.
