Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I decided to try to get a length shot tonight since I just washed my hair & it's still wet (only way I really think I can do length shots; my curls are too unpredictable). &, to my surprise & joy!, I am actually much closer than I thought I was! I must have been tilting my head more than I realized when I was using a mirror to check because with a photo, the longest bits of my hair are already at the towel! I think I'll wait until more of my hair makes it to call it, but aaaaaah! I'm so excited to see it this long! I have to dig my measuring tape out to check the length & update my profile. & a photo because pics or it didn't happen:

I'm not sure if I can control my dusting urge when it hits me, and it would be on my scale super long time between trims if I wait till APL... I'll just have to see whether I get the urge or not. On the other hand dusting would bring me tiny bit closer to getting rid of the unwanted layers.
I hope you'll reach the edge of the towel soon!
I know what you mean about wanting to wait. I need a bit of a trim but I really want to wait until I reach a little over APL. Lol at reaching the edge of the towel soon. Thank you for the well wishes. It's good to have goals right? :p And yes, I really really want to reach the edge. :D

How do you inset a picture into a post?
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
You upload it to a photo hosting site (like tinypic) and copy the IMG link here.

This is my first time successfully using spin pins! My ends didn't quite make it in, but this is so exciting that my hair is finally long enough for this style! I feel like being able to put it up like this will make growing it easier and less frustrating :D

Great! Both using spin pins, being able to put your hair up and posting a photo! Spin pins are awesome, aren't they! I use mine several times a week!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I ordered a decorative comb from Eternally in Amber. It is so hair friendly with no sharp or rough spots. It works in my hair now and I believe it will for a while. I tried it in my daughter's hair that is waist length and it held her hair, too. I may order another one in a different color. I do wish they had more color options.

This is my first time ever being able to use them! I'll see how well they keep up my hair over the course of the day. So far they're comfortable and they seem to be holding pretty well. I Soum that as my hair grows longer it'll be a lot easier to keep in the ends and create more stylish styles. But they are super easy to use! Yay!
