Shoulder | Armpit

Annieangel149 that is such a great idea to cheat a braided bun! I must try this.

After spending months thinking my hair was stuck at collarbone/shoulder length I took my first length shot of the year and was pleasently surprised to see that I am about 2inches past my shoulders. :cheese: I must have some little front layers because I could've sworn my hair has not grown and still touches collarbone.

APL is still a while away but I'm hoping it gets there by June for my friends wedding.

It's a start, ooo! I'm guessing it also might have something to do with the fact that you have twice as much hair as I do - that tends to throw off the proportions. ;) Maybe if you just tucked the tip of the braid under just enough to hide the tie rather than bringing the tip back down all the way to the base of the braid? That'll give you more braided section that shows rather than being curled under.

I think I was mistaken before, and I'm actually much closer to reaching APL than I thought! Much depends on how my hair decides to curl or stretch on a given day.

Next time I'll try it with brushing plus only tucking in the end.

I cut my hair a year ago to shoulder length but only now is it past my shoulders to the underarm line :(

I agree, I think its going to take a year of growth all up, if not a bit more, for me to make it to APL from shoulder.

Hello all, I'm joining in as well. :) I'm at a little below the middle point of shoulder and APL. It's been over 5 months since I got it cut to SL and I guess it'll reach APL around next summer. I've been lurking here a lot and it's been nice to follow this discussion :D
