That looks very cool, how did you do it?

Good question... I started by twisting it up as if I was going to do a peacock twist, then instead of leaving the ends sticking out upwards I twisted them around into a sort of "knot". I then had to keep a tight hold of it while I inserted the sticks. I need both sticks to keep this in place but once they're in it holds really well. My hair is only 18" with lots of layers so I'm quite pleased that I got this to work.
Oh and thank you!

it looks very nice! My hair is longer than yours and has no layers and I STILL can't manage sticks!

Yes, looks very very good. It looks like you did what I was explaining as the Up & Down on my previous post. In looking at the styling videos on the flexi-8 site, do you think that's what you did? Because I think your do looks great, and it could help others of us to use forks or sticks.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I'm shedding like mad :( about 160 hairs this morning in the shower. I COC wash two to three times a week, depending on the condition. I detangle in the shower, let it airdry and brush it carefully with a paddle brush if it looks too messy. I have it braided most of the time and sleep with it braided on a silk pillow. HALP!

I totally missed your link, thanks for posting. Yes it's basically the same thing, mine looks a bit different because it's not very long yet. I hope this helps some people, it's fun to be able to wear pretty sticks already :) I just hope it can recreate the style tomorrow!

Is your hair definitely getting thinner? I shed tonnes too but it doesn't seem to affect the thickness so I guess new hairs are growing in at the same rate, maybe the same is happening for you?
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I'm in a crazy shed too. Not sure why. Definitely over a hundred yesterday and maybe half that today. I'm hoping it's a phase!
