(had to tug my baggy shirt so you could see where my armpit is hahaha)
Having arm up changes where the pit crease is I'd suggest taking a photo with your arm down but you look very close at least or past it!

My hair has been feeling long so I just brushed it out to try to get a length shot. Now I'm just laughing at myself. I can squeeze my hair under my arm pit while stretched and my head mostly looking straight... yet pictures show my puff barely brushing shoulders.
Why don't you just call milestones stretched? It might make you feel better. Or measure both! Then you can post in two length topics :D
( I'm not even part of this length phase and I still post here 😂 )

Yeah, I never noticed till I started trying to take photos to see if I'd reached APL how much the position of the armpit changes depending on what I'm doing with my arms, if I'm standing up straight with my shoulders back vs slouching.

Agreed.
I like using a towel wrapped across my back and tucked into armpits. Its such a easy and definitive check.

It's easier than the pit crease at least I once did a towel check and was told it looked more like bsl 😂
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!

"Can I call it" Is a thing, I use that all the time to call milestones

Thanks, _Melly_! You'll be with us before you know it!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I'm so bad at knowing when to call it - what do you all think? (If I have time, I'll go back 10 years in this thread to try to see when I called it last time.)
What I really want is my puffy length to be APL when dry/unstretched but it feels like that will never happen. It grows OUT rather than DOWN.
