I'm not one of those people, Black is visually more appealing on myself than brown though I'm currently bored of black too atm I want some fun with deposit colors

Cross posting from the monthly length photo thread.
If I can keep this growth rate I think I can make APL within 6 months. I'm planning not to trim for at least another 7.

Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Looking at my hair I think the longest layers only need 1.5 - 2cm more for graduation. I don't think I'll reach that until next year because I have a trim around the holidays but it's really cool to notice.

I think I’m on a similar timeline - my hope at the end of last year that I might reach APL by the end of 2021 has proved wildly optimistic! I’ve been a lot happier since I stopped obsessively measuring, so I don’t know exactly what sort of growth rate I’m getting, but I’m at peace with letting my hair do its thing.

Thank you both! Yes they are my natural waves- finger combed while air drying. I will do a proper hair typing next year some time.

I really struggle to get any texture on top. Actually, this is one of the reasons I cut off a lot of length. I thought it might be the weight of my hair. Ends up it dries flat/straight where ever it is resting against my head.
I guess I could say my texture is fragile. The waves are gone now, just some weird kinks remain because I wore it up yesterday.
