Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
June shot! Not super exciting, I'm stalling a bit. But I've lost a bit of appetite with this hot, stuffy weather, so that may be the cause. https://forums.longhaircommunity.com...1&d=1623166515

Maybe I should try cinnabun soon.
I looked at my hair today ( second day, definitely dry) with my striped t-shirt on and I'm pretty sure that my ends sweep APL.. but I don't want to rush. I give myself time till the end of June - no trimming challenge- and then I'll call it.
Exciting! I think you could definitely call it by the end of June. I can't do a LWB, but I can do a cinnabun. I guess this is the advantage of thinner hair maybe?

Neat, Sleepy Tangles;)
So, as you see, guys.. I'm close.
Waves turned out crappy today but at least the length is visible.
The larger dark-blue stripe is APL

The hemline looks amazing @SleepyTangles!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Congratulations to everyone reaching SL and beyond! :cheer: SleepyTangles and paulownia, you both have beautiful hair & hemlines!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I keep forgetting to measure my hair or take photos to keep track, but I was delighted last week to be able to do low buns and use hair sticks for the first time ever! I'm not sure what kind of bun I'm doing—I think it's a cinnabun with tucked ends, but I don't have enough hair for it to look like a proper cinnamon bun yet so I'm not sure—but I've been bunning my hair every day since. I just started going back into the office, and I like that my coworkers (who have known me for 7 years with a pixie cut) can't tell precisely how long my hair is now. It's the little things ;)
All this to say, SL is finally not the worst thing ever! It still feels like I'll be in this range forever, but now I can do more than a basic ponytail, and that's made a world of difference for my morale. Excited to be on this journey with you all!

Indeed - it actually might be a little past collarbone while wet!

The cinnabun is definitively the best achievement in this length range, lol! I don't even know how I survived all the weird, in-between stages without ;)
