I'd love to join you all!
I started my journey early August-ish. I had realised that my extremely over-bleached hair had not gotten any longer at all during the covid-19 lockdown and then that it had in fact gotten significantly shorter. I think I'd resigned myself to always having 'bad' hair and was just wilfully ignorant of how badly I was treating it and what I could do to improve my hair. I got some ends chopped and a bit of a treatment, and the hairdresser - a family friend - suggested I lay off the straighteners for a few weeks. I took this in my normal all or nothing way and swore off all heat and dye for good! I also started checking the forum and doing lots of the things suggested on here!
Anyway, I started just above shoulder and am now just below collarbone when wavy. (I had no idea my hair was wavy!!!) I'm just so relieved that it is getting longer!
Sorry for the long post - I'm super excited to be here if you can't tell!!
You hair does look super healthy Agava, and it flows so nicely.
AmyBee welcome to the bleach damage club 🥴☠ we'll be healthy and long(er) in no time! Congrats on the waves, that's a fun discovery.
Beautiful progress Agava!
I am excited to say that I have hit APL! A month early too (APL is half an inch shorter than I thought).

Looks beautiful agava!
And congratulations mariakatija! :D Your hemline is super full as well!
My hair is so, so close to APL. I just trimmed a little bit of my ends and I think it will take either one month if I get a lot of growth or I'll be there in two.
My friend in the Chin to Shoulder length group pushed me out of the nest :rollin:
So I'm going to officially stick my second foot into this thread and declare myself truly at shoulder length now!
I previously said I was going to wait until collarbone, but I don't think that will be necessary. This isn't the collarbone to APL thread, it's the shoulder to APL thread :p
I've got approximately a year until APL, but that's not so bad. It's already starting to look so long :inlove: This length is quite flattering on me! :D
Took you long enough xD congrats on shoulder!
