Mine too. It has been steady at 1"/ mo since June. Which is amazing. I know it is going to slow down soon but I am hoping to get another month out of it :p

Clearly I need to try a fork sooner rather than later... Any recommendations for forks that work well with midlength hair?
LOL, I definitely see your logic with the night braids! I've managed to do some kind of Dutch braid face framing thing with mine today (with a flipped and pinned English braid at the back). It'll be interesting to see if it lasts the workday! It looks better in the mirror than in the photos. I just hope it looks OK outside!
Welcome! :bounce: And congrats on the epic growth rate, that's so great :D
Hi! I haven't posted for ages as things have been a bit hectic. Hope everyone is growing well.
Well done Fred Corvana and Estrid lovely pics!
likelikepenny you are so nearly there!
Renora25 welcome :D
I had an inch cut off last week - the very last of the semi permanent + LUSH henna + lightening gel + silicone build-up years :D so I'm pleased with this and still have shoulder length hair.
I also had some angling and layering done which I am less pleased about. It wasn't blended in properly and looks uneven. I need a new hairdresser or to learn to cut it myself. The plan is to keep growing anyway focusing on scalp health and hair condition.
I've realised I always cut back unless I have some face framing - I need it! I wish this wasn't the case, but at least I can move forward with growing, even if it is never going to be all one length.
Shanawavy Thank you! :D
It's a shame the stylist didn't blend properly. I hope it'll quickly grow out of the unevenness or that you can hide it. Congratulations on cutting off the last of the coloured/treated hair though, that's great!
Thanks very much Fred! I am blow drying it on cool which helps to hide the uneveness. My hair is lightened by a couple of shades at the moment - but it is in much better condition than a few years ago, when I didn't realise the damage that straightening, heavy silicone use, and repeated bleaching could do.
Happy growing :D
I think my longest layers are just brushing APL! It will probably take another month to be fully at APL. :)
That's so good :D This reminded me of about 5 years ago when I was putting dark purple/red box dye on the whole lot every 6 weeks or so. My hair is so much stronger and happier now, even though it's currently bleached.
Nice one! :happydance:
Thanks! Glad to see you back! If your hairtyping is correct, then your waves will make it blend sooner rather than later, which is a plus! Plus I bet it's nice to have more or less virgin hair.
:cheer: Awesome!! You'll be there so quick you won't even notice!
