Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Whoo-hoo! Congrats, Liz :D It'll be a long while before I beat my longest. However once I get past full APL my hair will be the longest it's been since the 5th grade O:
Christmas is so close, I feel it in the air  I'm so excited for halloween though :pumpkin:
In random personal news, we ordered my wig last night. [I'm obsessed with wigs idk If I've told anyone on here that] It should be to about hip [my goal] on me. I'm super excited. I'll probably post pictures because I'll be squealing so much. ;)
Also, I've been taking biweekly pictures and monthly pictures of my progress... perhaps i should only take pictures once every 4 weeks because I also really want to try doing benign neglect and not look at my hair at all for a while. I'm not sure though, I wanted to make a gif with all of the pictures once my hair got too long for the current cropping.
I need to get better at keeping my hair up because it likes to fall out and I have to re-do it and by the time I get home I just want to leave it down :( I don't think I'm doing very well on the "keep your hair up" challenge at all! I more started it so people at school would be like "WOAH UR HAIR GREW" so I guess i'm doing okay in that regard but I really want my hair to truly benefit from it as well. Right now I'm experimenting with high buns :o
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hello everyone:)
My hair was at nearly hip but I had major stress and it affected my hair badly. I also was very down and decided to chop my hair off. Silly I know.
However I now happy and back on track. I'm ready to grow again :D
I'm currently just past Collarbone length nearing APL.

emilylightning that must be fun having different wigs you can wear. No wonder you are excited about getting your new one. You can change look anytime you like. Do you get different colored wigs as well?

I just had my hair trimmed (picture on the right). I really fear that I will need to be doing a lot of trimming :(. I have so much damage from highlighting, blow drying, and flat ironing. Even after the trim, I see some splits and damaged ends. My roots are coming along nicely, though and blend in with the lighter ends really well. I would say I'm a medium ash blonde and I only have done highlights, so the transition is gradual. I have about 2-3 inches of my virgin hair (yay!).
I think my hairstylist was shocked when I booked my next appointment 4 months out. In the meantime, I'm on the hunt for a pair of decent scissors for s&d.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
My lowest layer is approaching shoulder so it'll be a while before I can join this thread because I want to grow all my layers out.
C'mon hair, grow faster.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
@RainbowPearl: It's very fun :D I'm getting a dark brown wig even though my hair is light brown so it'll be a little bit different than usual :)
I also have a blue curly halloween wig that's between waist and hip on me but it doesn't really look that good on me :( too poofy.

Hi everyone!!
Think I'm getting close to APL, my hair is getting caught in everything (yey!) and I'm having to be cautious not to zip it into my winter coat (dangerous but also yey!!). I would post a piccy but I'm still too much of a newby for that!
emilylightning I'd LOVE to see your wigs, they sound pretty exciting. And littleghost your colour is gorgeous!!
