I'm about 3 inches from APL and while it seems as though my hair is growing fast that it'll only take about 2 months to get there, I've entered the awkward "this will take forever to grow out" stage so I'm assuming I'll get there in 6 months.

I'm almost there! After a massive cut in september last year (to my cheek, gasp! I sometimes regret that cut, but my ends needed it..) my hair has grown about 7 inches and now I just have about one inch to go (I'm there when I stretch my hair, but the curls make it look shorter, so I'm not there "in relaxed state")! Ooh, the waiting..

I've decided I'm going to make myself a Paranda to celebrate when I finally reach APL. Planning it out, makes the waiting more tolerable.

whylime13 : yeah, i want to have some kind of reward for myself when my hair reaches APL... dont know what yet, though. Hehe. Im having a 30-days challenge of keeping my hair up now so i will treat myself with some new hair products when im done with that one! :) (in about 20 days...)
I'm guessing about 3 inches to APL, so about 6 months or by April 2013! I have a treat ready too! I have some really nice hair sticks that are sitting in plastic waiting for a length that I can use them at!
Frogs, how are you wearing your hair up? Pony tail? I feel like mine's too short for much :(
Hello! I'm going to join this thread if that's alright with everyone, after cutting back to shoulder recently. It was sort of accidental, and it's got shorter and shorter over the last few weeks, as I was cutting it myself and wasn't happy. There was a lot of bleach to cut out and now its mostly virgin (which I'm enjoying!) Today I had a friend tidy up the mess I've made and it looks lovely, though even shorter again still and I'm freaking out a bit now! I just have to remember that it'll grow in the next couple of months and hopefully be around APL by next summer. I might not grow much longer than that as I think it suits me better above APL. I'd just like a bit more length to put it up in a messy bun.

I do different kinds of buns! High, messy buns and sometimes low, loose buns! At night i am keeping it in a braid! Ponytail looks very ridiculous on me, for some reason..Quote:

I don't know how to do a top knot, but this is a kinda cruddy cinnamon bun.
