PirateJenny, your hair is so beautiful!!! Love the color, love the waves, love the layers, gorgeous!!!
I oiled my hair with coconut oil last night, as I was planning on washing it this morning and have an early Tuesday Treatment. Unfortunately... I overslept :-)
So I had to be very creative to find an updo where the oily strands are hidden... I'll put some more oil in it this evening and do my treatments before going to bed. Might even try another round of pincurls :-)
Thanks guys for all the compliments. I'm not exactly used to that :o but it's very encouraging indeed. My hair used to be a frizzy grease ball (yeah, that IS possible simultaneously) for many years until I finally figured out that a) no, my hair is not straight and will thus not look good in a bob without quite a bit of effort and b) I'm not really a short hair person anyway :D
Since joining this wonderful community I'm on a quest to go as natural as possible. These days I'm washing my hair mainly with rhassoul clay and an occasional egg and I dye with a combination of henna, cassia and buxus (so no, the colour isn't my own ). It's the fact that I walk around with various types of mud on my head a lot and use the contents of our fridge for the rest of my experiments that makes DH question my sanity (even though even he will readily admit that my hair has vastly improved...)
LOL !! You have no idea how much I would love to get into high altitude mountain climbing. I used to live close to the Alps and did a lot of (not so high altitude) climbing then. Unfortunately at the moment I live in what is probably the flattest place on earth ;) and there is also not a lot of grizzlies in these parts... Fireworks... hmmm.... you're giving me ideas here. Doesn't have to be mutually exclusive with long hair care either, does it :D
LOL gurl what did you think I wrote?
They haven't sent out any emails for it yet-- I only know it's coming up because it's been mentioned on the MUA makeup board. I am all over this sale because I want a SensEpil thing to remove hair. Expensive at $500 but I am desperate!
Thank you Lissandria. I've never experimented with Indian herbs before so this will be interesting for me.
LOL the universe wants you to be in line with Treatment Tuesday.
First off I can't believe you're getting such amazing results with clay. How are you using it exactly?
LOL and I had no idea you liked mountain climbing. Ever since I watched that crazy documentary about the Everest climbing disaster that happened in the 90's it has always had a sinister air about it for me. Something about the desolate, lunar like landscapes, the lack of oxygen... it can be scary!
As for fireworks making, it's a cool hobby. My dad has a book on it... although he's never tried it himself (he already has one finger eating hobby-- woodworking).
I won a $250 gift card a couple months ago(!!!) and I got the Bliss epilator. It's definitely not perfect, but it's awesome. My armpits are like, so freakin' smooth. It takes forever to do my legs because it's so small, but the time I save in the shower more than makes up for it.
I have a braun epilator (about €100 when i bought it, i think it's cheaper now). I have tried to do my armpits with it but that just hurts like hell for me! They did stay soft for quite some time, and the hair that grew back was really thin and almost invisible so i could wait even longer until i would use it again...
Out of laziness i'm not using it right now, but i might want to get used to it again for the summer :)
On my legs it gives me lots of ingrown hairs though, if anyone has an idea as to how to prevent that i'd love to know! :)

Awesome on winning that gift card Bunnysaur! Glad you are having success with the epilator. I had one but it didn't work very well for me. Hope this SensEpil will work because I want smooth armpits too, LOL
Treatment Tuesday... I am staying home from work today because I felt so sick this morning. Feeling much better now and sitting around with a ton of coconut oil in my hair. I'm going to let it soak for an hour and then wash it out with dandruff shampoo as my scalp has been acting up. Looking forward to mixing my L'oreal Eversleek leave in with my new Dove serum and seeing how it works on my frizz. And tonight when I go pick up my prescription from CVS I'm going to be a bad girl and some Suave Keratin Infusion Smoothing conditioner. I've got a lot of conditioners sitting around but I really really want to try this one! It's supposed to be excellent.
