Whoa I have never even heard of that! Are they loose powders like Guerlain's Eye Kohls? The model they are using is gorgeous btw. I only tightline so I just use Becca cake eyeliner or Milani dark brown eyeliner pencil (which I swear is every bit as creamy, smooth, and long lasting as my more expensive Make Up For Ever and Urban Decay pencils).
ETA: I don't know anything about the Clairsonic except that it has quite a fan club. My face can't handle that much mechanical exfoliation so every thing has to be chemical for me hence the Glytone, Vit. C serum, and M2 lotion.

Yep, same thing as Guerlain basically.
I never wear eyeliner because it seemed to come off my waterline too easily, and it didn't look right if I used it any other way. I'm hoping the Sormeh will work well!
I keep reading that certain eyeliner colors look better with different eye colors. I've never even noticed before.
The world of makeup confuses me terribly.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
My 'routine' (if you can even call it that) isn't much:
AM:
-splash of water in the face (or wash face with dove beauty cream bar/ alep olive oil soap when in the shower)
- oil of choice (right now it's coconut, but sometimes i'll use jojoba or argan)
- make-up if i feel like it/have the time
PM:
- remove make-up with eye-makeup remover and make-up remover tissues (is that what they're called? the ones that are a little damp)
- splash water in face
- oil (olive or coconut for the night)
So there you have it :P
A question for you about foundation though: if i put foundation on in the morning (with inglot primer underneath and powder on top), it seems to have disappeared completely by 3pm or so... anyone have any tips for that?

Your braids are great! I wish mine looked that good, I a can only do a basic French braid and the nape always falls out... Not the top or the tail, just the nape.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
MegaMystery, those are some amazing braids. Thanks much for putting the pictures up. So many different braids! I can only hope to one day be that awesome with braiding.
As for skin care routine... um... too lazy. Only thing I do is wash face in shower then after put sunscreen on. If I wear make-up, which I am doing more and more, I just use soap to wash it off in the evening. hmmm... and I wonder why my face is dry. Perhaps I should re-think these things.
In other hair related news, I was able to put my hair up with one stick yesterday and have it stay ALL day without re-doing. I am going to see if it was a fluke and try it again today. So far so good. *happy dance*
Anyone else have a mini hair happy dance?

I've tried to do some braids for you all, I have uploaded them to my album, so here's the link:
http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?u=40093
It also has an album for length shots, even though they're not always accurate and stuff, just for me to keep up with how it's doing.
I've tried to put the individual pictures from the album in this post, but i couldn't get them to show up (only red crosses) so if anyone could help me with that one then newer members can also see the pictures :).
Thanks, MegaMystery!!! Your hair looks great, and your styling ability amazes me :)
I think I've figured out some of my challenges to braiding my own hair, aside from the curliness-my layers. I'm planning on growing them out when my hair gets a bit longer, but for now it makes styling pretty difficult :(
As for skin routine, I do:
A.M.
Johnson's Clean and Clear Face Wash
Biotherm Aquasource Toner (Dry skin formula)
Biotherm SkinVivo Face Sunblock
Estee Lauder Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Cream
P.M.
Pond's Cold Cream to remove makeup
Johnson's Clean and Clear Face Wash
Suhada Nature Pomegranate Night Moisturizer
I looooove beauty stuff :cheese:
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Okay, skin routines!
I used to have terrible terrible acne as a teen, and one thing I stuck with is the Clinique soap bar from their 1-2-3 system...
Morning:
Wash my face with Clinique bar
Use a serum from La Mer (only a sample :()
La Mer moisturizing lotion
Make-up when I feel like it, depends on my mood how much I wear
Evening:
Take make up off (with Nivea Remover for waterproof makeup)
Wash my face with Clinique bar
Serum (for as long as the sample lasts...)
La Mer moisturizing lotion
It's an expensive lotion, but I use so little of it, that it lasts me twice as long as the less expensive stuff. And my skin just loves it...
And can I just say: yippee, almost Treatment Tuesday :cheese:
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
curly hair + measuring growth = frustration!!!
oh well, it can't be helped...
So, I've grown 2 inches since Christmas, and I'm still not at APL yet. Curly hair takes its own sweet time... But it is healthy and looking good, behaving and making me happy, so I guess I should be content...
Actually, I am pretty content, just not when I measure. Good thing I measure only 1 x month, eh?
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
you all have such good skin routines! Mine is rather pityful, but I'll add it, anyway
morning
wash my face with a cream wash
chammomile face cream
make up
night:
I usually fall asleep with my make up on *ducks and hides*
I've never been good about taking my make up off. I know it's horrible but I've never had any skin problems. I think I've probably had 3 pimple my entire life. People used to ask me what I did to take care of my skin and I'd say a bar of soap and body lotion. Really. Any way enough about that, but I admire how you all take care of your skin. I'm in my 30s now and I know one of these days I should probably start using special creams to stave off a
