In low updos, the underlights are subtle; like in the second photo, when it was still just bleached. :) And they can be visible in buns, too (third photo).
I love the pink tones in your hair :).
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I finally managed to do a 'bun' (actually a tucked ponytail).

By the way, does anybody know how to make the pictures smaller? They always turn out gigantuous :hmm:

Oh my, this is a lovely bun, ionaxena. :crush: It would fit in beautifully in this thread, also.......https://forums.longhaircommunity.com...d.php?t=123749
I use "lunapic" for my photos. You can actually re-size your photos along with a host of other actions.

You and Agava have me thinking about under-lights. I would do them close to my natural brown, or a bit darker. Hmmm:hmm:
Oh, it could be really interesting with your silvers!

I'm looking forward to seeing what you end up doing!

Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Looking good! I think my hair might be in a stall but still early in the month to really tell, who knows it might have a growth spurt by the end of the month. It would be great to make it to shoulder by Halloween I can just call it really but I want to be more firmly there

There are many possibilities and some examples look like piece of art, just with one colour, put on the right place. Just think about what to do after, in case that you want another change.

I spent a lot of time on careful sectioning because I thought the contrast would be big, but it isn't. That cocoa shade isn't to dark or my hair didn't accept the dye properly. But I actually love this subtle change.

You are welcome, ioanaxena.
The bun you made reminds me of the Gibson Tuck. I especially like the wispy tendrils at the nape, they are so soft and feathery.

Great advice, Agava. I will give it some thought for sure, my hair has not had color added since 2008. However, it may be the time for a change.
I really like your subtle under-lights, they are visible for sure. I can only imagine how pretty they will look in the sunlight.

Wearing your hair up should give an interesting look, too.
