There is always going to be a mix of strands that reach/don't reach it depending on their mood that day, but I think I feel comfortable calling it now.

YAY!!
Congratulations ynne, looks amazing!
Hope to be there for Christmas :couch:
I'm not being good at maintaining, I feel so sad to part with perfectly fine ends in order to reach the short, sh***y layers... Well, we'll see.

Thank you both! ♥
Sleepy, I saw your recent picture and it looks so long. How far is it for you? :)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!

Thank you ynne! I've noticed it has started getting outside the framing, when I snap a pic sideways ;)
My APL range starts a cm over my mole, so I'd say we have two full months at least before I reach it.
From August there was no improvement in length, only in thickness (unsurprising, as I trimmed). I'm slathering my shorter layers in Olaplex and jojoba oil and pray they don't disintegrate further. I'd be happier to maintain once I've hit APL, frankly.

You'll get there before you know it! If you don't trim the longest layers (those aren't disintegrating, right?), I bet they'll make it before Christmas like you hoped, if not sooner!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Congratulations, ynne! I love your curls.
SleepyTangles, you're getting close!
