Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
My hair is past collarbone in the front, but I have an inverted u-shape, so the back is hitting the neckline of my t-shirts. As it grows out, I'll be trimming the front a wee bit at a time to both remove damage (BLEACH!) and let the back catch up. I usually have a normal u-shape when I grow my hair long, but it tends to grow that way on its own because the back grows faster than the rest. For now, I'll focus on evening up the length and making it all healthier looking. :D
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I'm not even shoulder quite yet, should be by the end of this summer, but I should be at APL this time next year 0: I'm so excited!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I just cut 6.5 inches off my hair, so its just below collarbone now!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
So much great progress from everyone! :)
I'm solidly at the bottom of shoulder blades now, but when I look at the front hair, it's 5cm away from APL (at back, it might be slightly less, somewhere between 3-4cm? I can't quite measure it now).
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I started growing at SL... now my hair is halfway between SL and APL... been growing since Nov2019 and I'm so happy that I'm on my way to APL.

Shouldn't the bottom of shoulder blades be longer than APL?

Ah, sorry for confusion! I kind of figured it's explained in my signature, so I didn't elaborate but I should have – I meant bottom of shoulder blades stretched, but not yet APL when curly. :)

Oh! I didn't even realise you were talking about stretched and unstretched. I thought you were talking about different sections of your hair. Now it makes a lot more sense :D Are you mainly calling your milestones when curly?
EDIT: I just went a couple of pages backward and found my answer :lol

Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
CuteCrow, ah, yeah, it gets more complicated because I am still dealing with two lengths, and then two varied (stretched/unstretched) lengths of these, so I guess I could call it 4 different things and it'd still be correct. :) Btw, I've just seen your yearly progress from June, what an amazing difference!!
SleepyTangles, I recall saying this on another thread, but your hair seems to be growing so fast! It's looking great. c:
