Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Looking good, Waveurly  You're really close!
Today I took couple of progress pictures that makes it look like I'm at APL but I doubt I would pass the towel test, so I'm not calling it just yet... :hmm:

Great that you're not far off as well! APL is a bit of a strange length I also feel like I'm almost there but then it was further in the towel test photo. From the back. From the front I don't feel I'm almost there at all.
Maybe you'll graduate soon then!:cheer:

Yeah, SL-APL is strange, confusing territory. Weirdly enough, I'm at APL looking from front :D I have been waiting for the back to catch up. I think I will be there next month :) Lots of new growth to you and everyone else here!

Yes, I also think that even 0.5cm trim would make my hair way shorter. Btw, August is still near. 5 weeks and you're there!
waveurly and you are very close to APL. Don't forget that we once concluded that APL with the towel is lower then APL ;)
Begemot, then it means you're very close to APL with the towel, too. Please update us with photos!
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I took a progress pic couple of days ago (after washing, still damp). Very very close but not quite there!

Aww, beautiful! Seems like you are there with the longest strands! Very nice progress :)
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I’m in the same spot- my longest ends just at APL. :)

Maybe we'll get to graduate to the next thread together, GeoJ
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
Hello everyone, I have finally reached APL! :happydance: It has taken me around about a year.
In 2018 I trimmed quite often to even out my hair but the past 6 months I have not trimmed at all as I am participating in the no-trimming 2019. I am not sure if the photo I have posted will show up as this is the first time I am posting photos but in the photo you can see my ends are kind of fairytaily already. I guess that's just what I have to learn to deal with with thin hair though so I'm not just going to cut it back as that's why I couldn't grow past APL for so long. I'll spend all of 2020 doing microtrims to thicken up the ends but that's only once I've already got hair that is decently long.
Anyway, I can't believe this day has finally come. I've waited for so long (years) to get my hair to APL so its really exciting for me. It's finally feeling not so short anymore. I'll see you all in the next thread as I grow to BSL. I think I will reach BSL by the end of the year or a few months later as it is not that far from APL on me.
