Congrats blackgothicdoll!! As one hyper-curly graduates, another one moves in to take her spot!

I measure my dry length rather than stretched length. I promise I'll take pictures of the back of my head from now on
Welcome hinabelle! :joy: I just commented your gorgeous curls in another thread but again, your hair is so lovely!
Thank you! I've never heard the term hyper-curly but I love that description! As always your curls are so adorable. I commend you on your patience, I often do wonder if my hair will ever reach a point where it grows down instead of out, but I fear that day is many years ahead. I'm sure I'll circle back around to this thread when/if it does though :o happy growing!
Welcome hinabelle! Happy growing!
hinabelle, your curls are hyper-stunning :bowtome:
congrats to 21". You are really close, you'll get to APL during the summer! I totally understand your happiness about being so close to your goal. In my case, every mm counts, and I'm also happy every time I see my calculation come true.
I'm going to cross 20" line at the end of May, and my APL is on 23.5"
Oh, and one small step for a mankind, but big, big step for me:  I feel proud to announce that I've decided not to use a hairdryer anymore.
Last time I used a dryer was 1st May, and next time when I washed my hair, instead of blowout my hair, I just put my hairdryer out of my reach.
I've washed my hair 2 more times these days, and let my hair dry naturally. It's ok, looks decent if I invest a bit more time, and when I put a lot of no-frizz cream and silicone serum.
I also tried one more hair toy that I couldn't use in years behind, and this time the toy kept my bun staying neat for hours.
I really think I can survive without a hairdryer from now. Being hairdryer-free already, gives me very live flashbacks of the times when my hair was long and when I didn't use a hairdryer.
Have a nice Monday! :)
Congrats for the big decision, Agava
Thanks Agava! It's definitely true that every little bit of growth counts! Congrats as well on not using a blow dryer anymore :D
Personally I only use a blow dryer in the winter, especially on the scalp area as I can't stand wet and cold hair, but I use a low heat setting.
