Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Blueberries, raspberries, black beans, rice, corn tortilla, 1 egg. Plus coffee, almond milk, and collagen supplements.
I've been trying to eat a lot more whole grains and legumes. I'm pretty good on vegetables and fruit, but can't hurt to have some more plant-based protein in my diet.
Yesterday I had the same breakfast as today, plus 3 tacos for lunch (corn tortillas, 2 with cauliflower and corn, 1 with carnitas) and just rice and miso soup for dinner because I was getting a migraine :c

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Low-carb tortillas with chicken salad inside for the past couple of days.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Homemade mushroom and cheese pastries, homemade cheese and ham pizza pastries, coffee, collagen supplements, other supplements, detox herbal tea with honey, mixed nuts, pistachios, chocolate.
I like to keep it high protein and high enough fat that I feel satiated and my hair and skin stay healthy and soft. Collagen has really been helping me to grow stronger and longer front hairs! I hope one day, to not have to use bobbypins at the front at all if possible. So far the hairs are growing in more, thicker and longer than before! :) sooo who knows!

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
I'm doing the carnivore diet now, since carbs aggravate chronic inflammation in the body. It's suppose to lessen arthritis and other chronic inflammation problems. It's also suppose to make hair grow faster and stronger with all the protein, and nails as well, as long as I am getting the vitamins and minerals I need and drinking more water, eating more fat. I'm suppose to eat wild pink salmon and liver once a week, lots of eggs and use lots of pink Himalayan salt. I do all of the above. I've been on it for about 6 weeks now and will start charting my hair growth today. My arthritis is better, not gone yet, but noticeably better. I have heard from other people that it takes awhile, several months to see real changes in the arthritis. There's lots of info out there about this and I'm liking it. I have never been able to eat a lot of carbs anyway, sugar and white flour give me sever migraines, so I'm finding it easy. I'm hoping for great leaps in hair growth since I'm trying to grow out my natural gray. My ends are a rusty gray.

Yeah, definitely. Prenatals usually contain every vitamin necessary for healthy hair, skin, and nails. I find they work better than the vitamins that are made for that purpose. It has definitely helped me reduce shedding and gain volume when paired with an additional biotin supplement

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Has anyone consumed pumpkin seed oil for their hair? I heard there was some study where it decreased hair shedding. I wonder if it would help postpartum?
Anyway I have a bottle, it looks like used machine oil (it's black) and tastes pretty good in a salad. I especially recommend orzo salad. I would eat pumpkin seed oil even if the hair benefits were just clout.
