I made a spicy coconut milk soup with beef meatballs, collard greens, carrots and celery, and cashews. Rich, spicy, and delicious.
Pasta and tuna. And later I had some lamb shank meat
Salad: Cabbage, carrot, cucumber, chopped mint, and dressing.
An omelet, with tomato and cheese on it. Can you believe I totally forgot about omelets and haven't had one since I was a kid??? Duh! What a great way to eat more eggs. :o
Marmite, cheese and lettuce sandwich. Mango Greek yogurt.
Chicken.
Yesterday, we had low-carb tortillas with minced meat, lettuce, cucumber, bellpepper, and onion. In addition, I had boiled wienerdogs.
Today, we'll be having the same.
Once all the leftovers are gone, I will be going back to my usual, simple, animal-heavy diet again. My body is definitely reacting!
Lambshank meat in mongolian sauce and picklets with raspberry jam and cream, plus a can of full sugar pepsi since I'm naughty
Thai green chicken curry, but because I am a wimp regarding spicy food I 'diluted' it with cooked cabbage, zucchinis, green beans etc. Then added a pinch of sugar, a huge squirting of fresh lemon juice, and a generous amount of chopped coriander leaves. Mmmmmm, it was so good!! :o
Vitamins, protein bar, salad with chicken, black beans, tomatoes, and cheese, steak (plus rice but idk that's not really for my hair), and cottage cheese
For dinner I am eating a plate of cut up vegetables (zucchini, cucumber, tomato) and two hard boiled eggs, and a large dollop of hummus with Dukkah spice mix (cumin, pistachios), and chopped coriander leaves. It is sooooooo yummy!! :yumm:
For dessert there is watermelon cut into easy to eat fingers. :o
I apologize in advance to anyone who knows anything about Mexican food, but I was having a beef burrito for dinner and decided it didn't have enough protein in it so I tipped a can of tuna salad with sweetcorn on top of it. It was really good, that's the amazing thing! I am sure I have never knowingly eaten beef and tuna together in my life before. :p
Today I ate... my username! With added egg, because I've been trying to eat more egg lately.
Protein banana pancakes for breakfast.
The usual Marmite, cheese and lettuce sandwich for lunch. Vanilla Greek yogurt, this time, for an afternoon snack.
For dinner salad: cabbage, carrot, cucumber, tomato, chopped mint and basil, with a dressing. And a smoked chicken breast sandwich with lettuce and about, oh, one teaspoon of mayonnaise. Fatty Shayna has been learning her lessons about 'moderation'. This word didn't exist in my vocabulary until a few months ago. :p
I just had carbonara pasta with tuna with cheese on top
Dinner was Thai green chicken curry, with loads of extra vegetables, and mango Greek yogurt for dessert. :o
I managed to get a packet of Smoked Salmon at a reduced price in the supermarket today. Mmmmmm, juicy smokey salmon! :o
with the exception of dinner/ the weekends, i usually eat the same thing every day. breakfast is coffee + oatmeal & collagen, lunch is niçoise salad with 3oz salmon instead of tuna, snacks are fruit/ toast/ pumpkin seed protein shakes, and/or a chocolate ensure drink. :yumm:
since i'm growing out a buzz-cut, i'm trying to eat 100g+ protein & foods rich in iron, biotin, copper, & omega 3s. my daily tea blend of nettle/oatstraw/moringa is high in silica/vitamin c & the only supplement i added to my stack is msm.
manifesting rapunzel hair :meditate:
I scored another cheap packet of smoked salmon. This is why I creep around the supermarket near closing time! I made a big sandwich with smoked salmon, lettuce, light rye bread, and I peeled a section of a lemon and made paper-thin slices to put in with the salmon. :yumm:
Meatballs, chickpea pasta, cottage cheese, broccoli, and two pieces of chocolate :)
My friend introduced me to gnocci. So I had that with cheese and tomato pesto tossed in I also had cake
Avocado toast, then smoked salmon and Greek yogurt spread on sourdough. Trying for more protein and healthy fats this year!
Chickpeas, ham, ricotta, veggies, bone broth with more veggies, raw milk, bananas. Also red wine - great for de-stressing and therefore great for hair.
Gnocci same as yesterday for breakfast and a small can of pepsi
Mmm, cake...cake is good ;)
My family likes to make a gnocchi caprese salad: gnocchi, sliced cherry tomatoes, Oaxaca mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil, all tossed in olive oil and seasoned with salt/pepper. You can also add balsamic reduction when you get a serving, but I think my mom is the only one who usually does that.
A mushroom and spinach quesadilla. Yum!
