I feel this so hard. I just ate some salmon for dinner, and I'm still looking at salmon recipes on pinterest bc I love it so much. Poke bowl also sounds really good...

Today I had half a breakfast burrito (eggs, black beans, cotija cheese, chorizo, potatoes), Greek yogurt with blueberries and pumpkin seeds, popcorn, oven-roasted salmon and spinach, and some dark chocolate with pretzel bits. Also had a mezcal Bloody Mary at brunch, but that wasn't really for my hair.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
I will be eating a "Belgian classic", which is: fries. We are known for the little stands all over towns and communities with fries, typically with stew and mayo. Yes, I know. But it's delish! I promise. These days these "stands" are forced to close as it is a so-called "eye-sore". It's like these politicians won't rest until the last bit of what is typically our culture is *gone*. And I don't get it, not one bit.
Anyway... back to the fries. My dad makes them from scratch, so no pre-sliced potatoes from the coolers; or frozen fries. We actually buy potatoes for fries. But you can't find any good ones lately anymore. See my comment about defacing an entire culture. Every gosh darned fry potato we find in stores (any store) goes dark brown (and that's a cancer risk) when deep fried. I mean... This is a pure and utter disgrace.
I did manage to find some "Fontana" potatoes, and they are "supposed to be" good ones, but... we'll see.
Anyway, bon appetit! ;)

SandyBottom, yes they are! :D
The "Fontana" which is supposed to be the next best thing to the old old famous Belgian fry potato the "Bintje". It worked. They went a nice golden color. Yay! And I got 6 bags. We're down one 2.5KG bag now. But yep, when I find good ones, I buy a fair number of bags, because a good fry potato? Try and find one in Belgium anymore. :( My big pet peeve here.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
So far, egg, lol. My hormone levels are making me nauseated so I haven't eaten much.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Breakfast: Breakfast burrito (Flour tortilla, 2 eggs, ground beef, rice, tomato, onion, cheese, spices)
Dinner: Salmon, white rice, broccoli, carrot salad (carrot ribbons, sesame oil, rice vinegar, salt, pepper). Think I'll have some dark chocolate for my dessert.
Lunch was just popcorn, since I wasn't feeling very good and just wanted a snack instead of a lunch. Probably does't do much for my hair :p

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Yesterday was salad w tuna. Today was lean organic beef, cheese, raisins. Quite pitiful. Tomorrow will be better-salmon...all the talk here has my mouth watering, almond butter.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Everyone here eats such healthy food!
I am in awe of this, my own diet has been appalling recently - partly due to laziness but mainly due to financial issues, I've had to cut back on buying groceries due to many of my favourite foods becoming too expensive for me.
Reading these posts has inspired me to try to eat better as I spend less money.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Increased my water consumption and ate strawberries, chicken breast, corn on the cobb.

I never eat healthier than when I'm trying to actively grow my hair, lol. It makes me way more nutrition-conscious, which is great cuz I suddenly have more energy!
Today so far:
2 eggs and sourdough toast with butter, 1/2 cup blueberries, green juice, protein shake, lentil vegetable soup. No idea yet what I want to make for dinner, but I have 2 hours of pole class so it will probably be something high protein.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Yesterday was salmon, some kind of rucola-based salad thing, and fried tomato.
The day before yesterday I had chicken and broccoli.
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Eggs, with pea shoots, leeks and goat cheese on sourdough toast. Lots of tea and water, vitamins and fish oil. For dinner later, tuna steaks, asparagus, red cabbage slaw, with maybe brown rice.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Yesterday was omelette with tuna, bell pepper, tomato, and Gouda cheese. I also had the leftovers cold today; it was very pizza-like and nice even cold!
Other than that, I've had smoked Baltic herring, sausages, and some grapes today.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Yesterday and today, it's been chicken, pork, egg, and asparagus. For dessert, we had "oven cheese", which is basically "booster milk" (produced by cows for their newborns) chucked into the oven and consumed with cinnamon, cream, and a little sweetener. Love me a thiccc dessert like that!

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
I am trying to increase consumption of dairy products (mainly Greek style yogurt and rice pudding but I love single cream in coffee or poured over fresh fruit.)

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?

A croissant stuffed with cheese.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Banana, whole milk yogurt, cheddar cheese, magnesium supplements, liver supplements, organic apple juice, butter, dried figs and dried dates - I am pregnant and still cannot stomach meat and eggs or else I would definitely include those in my hair care diet!
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Turkey & cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread with lots of mixed greens, lots of water & tea, multi vitamin, & prepping salmon for dinner!
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Today I can’t say that I ate for my hair. I had milk in a matcha latte , I had eggs and drank plenty of water.
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
I ate a lot of beef fat with my Bakso. No vegetables because I hate 'em. I just felt like saying I ate Bakso today (for my hair?). :p *The beef fat was my special order, real Bakso (which just means meatballs) is just meatballs and noodles in a beef broth soup!
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Carnation Breakfast mix, collagen, wheat germ smoothie.
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
I'm trying to incorporate more protein in my diet, and less processed food. Greek yoghurt is my new breakfast, perfect for summer. I'll also aim for at least one egg per day. Today I accomplished that by making banana pancakes with two eggs. Had baked potatoes with :cheese:, bacon and sourcream for dinner. And a corn cob! Good day in terms of food today, I've been so uninspired lately.

Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Sausages and sauerkraut (have a craving for that at the moment). Greek yoghurt with kiwi.
ETA: I still ended up having low-carb crunch bread with a hefty chunk of butter, Gouda cheese, "Saturday sausage", bell pepper, and some more sauerkraut.
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
Tuna sandwich
Edit: ended up eating some beans and avocado as well!
-
Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
avocado, yogurt, peanut butter, dates, and a banana
