Lots of whey protein.
Yesterday I ate boiled eggs, tabouleh, chicken wrap, pasta and some bananas.
Today I was a bit stressed and I ordered my favorite comfort food: pizza and ice cream. It was delicious but it gave me stomach ache :(.
Yesterday: Organic beef with goat's cheese. Chicken with sauerkraut. Dark chocolate. Coffee and tea. Electrolytes, D3, and B1.
Today: Chicken. Sausage and sauerkraut. Organic beef with goat's cheese. Dark chocolate. Coffee, and tea with coconut cream. Electrolytes, D3, and B1.
Oh man, couldn't find (rasp)berries in my Lidl anymore. Aldi never has them, so that's pointless anyway. Lidl not having them was the case last Saturday (which is why I got them from my local grocer at that time, brand Driscoll's so... at least 50ct per 125grams more expensive :(), and this Wednesday. It's odd for my Lidl not to have something 2x in a row. My mom said something about them not being in season, but then... how does my local grocer get them? I have no clue when these are in season. Might look it up.
Oh well, if it's the same next Saturday, I'm getting them from my local grocer again. I love them too much, and I need a bit of fruit in my diet. I nibble at my mom's banana's every Thursday anyway, but that's about half a banana a week, so not much.
I have a very generous girlfriend visiting, so she got us pho for lunch - and we both ended up burned, my poor finger is so red and sore (I'm a transcriptionist, extra yikes!) and her foot has some small blisters. I feel bad cause I usually prep takeout on the counter, but instead this time I ended up with broth spilled on my bedding.
I think for dinner I'll use a gift card for something that *isn't* hot soup, I don't want to risk further injury!
I am giving MSM supplements another go. I just have to remember to take it after eating, otherwise it gives me stomach ache for some reason.
Oh and I've had plain cooked edamame for dinner today :pinktongue:
Boiled eggs with sea salt. A meaty sausage. Mozzarella. Dark chocolate with a mixture of heavy cream and unsweetened almond milk. Coffee with coconut cream. Electrolytes, D3, and B1.
Let us know if you notice any effect from them. My electrolyte powder contains MSM so I end up getting anywhere from 1g to maybe a maximum of 5g of it per day. It's hard to say if it's made any difference because I've made so many other healthy changes in my life.
Some treats today ;)
Oatmeal with cinnamon, nuts and banana.
For lunch - Swedish meatballs with pasta and green beans.
Snack 15:00 banana again ... ( I need to buy other fruits) handful of hazelnuts and raisins, 2 wheat Digestive cookies and coffee.
Evening - I have packed for work. Yoghurt and a sandwich with salami. And water.
I will drink peppermint tea later.
Pork steak with asparagus fried in butter. This was my first time eating asparagus as far as I can remember, and my body seems to tolerate it well. It was also really tasty with the bacon and onion-flavoured cream cheese that I put on it!
In addition, the usual: mozzarella, dark chocolate, coffee, tea with coconut cream, electrolytes, D3, and B1.
Yes! Raspberries are on sale at my local grocer tomorrow! :cheer:
And I'll see if Lidl has their sliced watermelon yet. A big watermelon is too much for me, but couple bins of sliced I can do.
Almonds, cheese and restarted my vitamins.
Yesterday, we had sushi. I hoarded the ones with avocado and salmon on them, as well as the mixed rolls with avocado, and then tried a few of the ones that have some sweet, yellow, sponge-like stuff on top. What is it, does anyone know?
Later, I had burger patties with asparagus fried in butter and some gouda.
Also my usual supplements: electrolytes, D3, and B1.
I eat a pretty well-rounded diet, so I'll mention the "extra" stuff. Like fruit, that I need to really force myself to eat!
I snacked on watermelon yesterday. Bought a quarter slice from Lidl and we chopped that up yesterday. Got some mango slices from Aldi. And my raspberries from Lidl (3 x 250 grams). Yes! I am now on my first tray of raspberries and there almost gone. They got washed 3PM and yep, almost gone. :) I'll have mango + some more raspberries tomorrow. The mango is good until the 26th, so... we'll see.
Chicken and salad (lettuce, cucumber, and bell pepper). Since that was very low-fat, I needed something to take my D3 with, so I made a shake with egg, heavy cream, almond milk, and stevia. Dark chocolate. Also electrolytes and B1.
I had eggs and brown rice!! I don't know for sure but I think brown rice must be good for your hair since fermented rice water is a method of strengthening your hair :blossom::magic: I also had chicken.
Took my daily multi vitamin, b12, and electrolytes.
I had chicken with mixed vegetables, some homemade Italian chicken soup, strawberries and kiwis, dark chocolate and tira misu :flower:
a whole roasted chicken
Nothing yet. Still trying to decide on that.
So far though my stage of hunger has not overridden my severity of indecision.
I had some blueberries and cashew nuts.
Today I ate fruits, grilled cheese and some beans. Also took my daily vitamins, B12, multi and electrolytes.
Kombucha and green tea. A smoothie with spinach, blueberries, chia seeds, and almond milk. Apple cider vinegar & probiotic gummies.
I had the best intentions for a healthy dinner but an unfortunate incident involving a frisbee, my hand, and my dog's teeth derailed that plan, and we ended up ordering pizza instead.
Ohh.....frisbee and doggo teeth. Sounds a bit snappy. Oops!
But as far as the eating situation, thats funny because I ended up doing something similar tonight.
I hadn't eaten anything until around 9:45 pm tonight. I have a bad tendency to just sit here and be hungry for hours until I finally decide.
I'm like a trucker in that sense.
It's like..... how many truckers does it take to change a light bulb?
.....None. They would rather just sit in the dark and complain. :D
At first I would have liked some pineapple sticks, sliced pears and maybe a sandwich that I would have smashed into panini lines.
But all of a sudden I got a craving for spaghetti, and since I didn't have the stuff to make it, I called in an order to tasty place I like and went and picked some up.
I added chia seeds to my oatmeal earlier, that was yummy! But then I decided to indulge my hot dog cravings, that second one was a mistake and now I have a stomach ache...
Pork steak and asparagus fried in butter. A cheesy sausage. Dark chocolate. Coffee, and rooibos and rosehip tea. Electrolytes, D3, and B1.
Duck eggs, potatoes, tempeh bacon, a bit of cheese, tomatoes, greens, red bell pepper, wakame seaweed, carrots, cucumbers, tofu, brown rice. I'll have a peach and a cup of herbal tea later.
The most recent things I've had would be some tinned herring on wheat crackers earlier. Black grapes. And some rice pudding.
Cocoa porridge, some melon, a little bit of B&J vegan brownie ice cream, dark chocolate with coffee and some apples. Oh and oat milk.
My current favourite snack-type meal is the shake that I make out of eggs, heavy cream, unsweetened almond milk, raw cacao powder, and stevia/erythritol! In addition to that, I had bacon and asparagus again yesterday, as well as a chunk of mozzarella, and a cheesy sausage. I'm on an asparagus streak lately. It seems to work well for me to get a little bit of fiber. Usually, plants bloat the heck out of me.
Do mini marshmallows count?
today I had 3 coffees (bad I know) and 3 avo, cheese and tuna and lemon drizzle wraps for lunch, for dinner it will probably be beef patties with avo, cheese and pineapple all on half baroque buns
Shake made out of eggs, almond milk, heavy cream, organic raw cacao powder, and stevia/erythritol. Whey protein. Mozzarella and avocado. Two mangos. Electrolytes.
Lots of beef jerky today, Better appreciate that protein hair ;)
Baked chicken with roasted cherry tomatoes and zoodles. Yeah, it was good 👌
Nuts, yoghurt and blueberry.
Grape juice made in the juicer.
Drinking a bit more water.
Stramed halibut, green beans, and smashed potatoes
Salmon, salad, and goat cheese. Dark mint chocolate. Organic coffee and tea with heavy cream. Electrolytes, vitamin D, and B1.
