Re: What did you eat for your hair today?
I am on 3 tubs of Alfalfa sprouts a day. A few years ago I went to see a guy called Don Tolman. He taught that foods that look like parts of the body, feed those parts. The theory holds true for many foods. Walnuts look like the brain and feed the brain with oils, celery looks like bone, breaks like bone, has 22% sodium that is exactly the same as bone, avocados are good for pregnant women.. take 9 months to grow, look like a pregnant belly etc etc .. you get the idea..
Anyway, I decided I'd buy Alfalfa seeds because they look like hair. Then I started to look up the nutrients.. and wow.. they are literally a hair super food - and known for it (so I guess many of you know this already!).
Rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium, folic acid, iron, protein, B vitamins etc etc.. and also are shown to help low oestrogen levels that are needed for hair growth. They have traditionally been used for hair loss for generations..I have NO idea if they will make my hair stronger as I cannot chart the results after a week of eating heaps of them.. but.. I'll keep you updated!
Aside from that, I'm eating super greens.. grass basically... :)

Eggs are supposed to affect the "good cholesterol", anyway, aren't they? Besides, health care professionals around here are starting to say that cholesterol doesn't really matter all that much after all.

My LDLs are low and my HDLs are high. I just figured saying “low cholesterol” would make it easier for people to understand. I have been reading about how they are now saying that eggs barely affect cholesterol at all. I dont know, ive always just loved them

Me too. I've always just eaten eggs without a worry in the world. If I should stop or reduce eating something, it's always going to be sugar and not something healthy like eggs.
