I have a question! So I started adding whey protein supplements to my diet in order to help with some fat loss and general fitness goals but I feel like since i've started taking it regularly my hair has felt smoother, looks glossier, and is growing faster?? I know protein is good for your hair but has anyone else noticed results like these from adding whey protein to their diets?
I took whey protein when i did sports and didn't notice a difference, but also bleached my hair alot. I found the ensure protein shakes seemed to make my hair stronger, perhaps because of the iron. Even the more expensive Vega brand didn't do much for me.... I never tracked results though because I didn't care much for growth at the time, but I remember my hair growing pretty fast when I was taking ensure. I also ran an hour every morning, so it could've been either of those.
Humm.. I was told by the hair specialist I mentioned on my shedding thread to take Help Hair Protein which I have just ordered... http://www.helphair.com.au/shop/.. will report back on it after 1 month of use..
