Salmon, spinach, almonds
Aldi had a bunch of salmon 50% off today so I feasted
Fatty pork ribs, slow-cooked in the oven for a total of 1.5 hours, with extra butter on top. :yumm: Milk jelly. Coffee with heavy cream.
A rainbow sandwich: buttered light rye bread with shaved ham, red cabbage, sprouted seeds, Swiss cheese, carrots and tomato.
Then chocolate.
Chocolate is very good for hair. It's science. Probably.
Pork steak, fried egg, cottage cheese, and cream cheese. Coffee with heavy cream.
i made hot chocolate with an addition i read about in a very old cookbook - an egg yolk... it makes it richer and the egg taste isn't noticeable at all, will try it in coffee next.
Oatmeal with banana, oysters, rotisserie chicken, steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes with almond milk, and a handful of nuts for snacking
i used a pretty simple recipe:
break about 60 grams of the lidl 200-gram dark cooking chocolate into a mug, cover with milk (and/or sweet or whipping cream) to 200 ml. add a pinch of salt.
microwave until it's hot, then stir with a fork to break up the chocolate chunks, and microwave again until it boils up. whisk in 1 yolk and it's done.
the yolk doesn't get boiled so it stays creamy and if you don't add the white, there's no egg bits or anything in it. the cookbook mentions boiling the yolk in it for a very short time for some recipes (and also using wine instead of milk for hot chocolate) but no experience with that.
Red lentil lasagna!
