Re: Soapwort-Infused Flaxseed Gel: Best Gentle DIY Shampoo EVER?
Tried it out today! I used a little bit of ACV, and then flax and 5 soap nuts. I have a scalp that gets oily around day 4 or 5, but ends that hate being washed. So I did a scalp only wash with this shampoo DIY and it worked out great! I’ll probably use this to scalp only wash once or twice a week, and then do a full hair wash every other week. I’m also going to try infusing the shampoo with different herbs— nettle, rosemary, ginger, sage, and mint are all waiting in my garden!
Re: Soapwort-Infused Flaxseed Gel: Best Gentle DIY Shampoo EVER?
How fortuitous, I was looking for a shampoo recipe and I have a lot of flaxseeds that I bought for baking that I decided I hate to eat. My husband would also probably use this but we have a different hair type, can anyone speak to how flaxseed + soapwort tends to influence fairly oily hair?

This is great, thank you! I have some soapwort seeds I planted recently, they need to hurry up and grow so I can try this!
