I did the exact same thing. Around June I was sure I'd make APL by Christmas. Waaaay off that mark. Ah well, we'll get there.

I think I may actually make armpit length by Christmas. I'm nearly there when my hair is wet; I'm just waiting for my hair to pass the towel test when dry. Two more months should do it.

I agree with those who have said that it seems to take an eternity for hair to grow from shoulder length to armpit length. I wonder if the next few milestones will take equally long...

I'm at the exact same place! I do the towel test like everyday now and my hair is almost touching when it's wet. We'll be there soon enough! :cheer:

If you straightened your hair you'd be there. I've moved on to the next thread but I called apl when it was there past straightened but not there curly. :) wavy hair moves up and down too much!!!

I love your color eva888, your hair looks gorgeous.

I'm joining this thread as I'm just past shoulder and if I reach APL I think its the longest I've ever had my hair. I'm practicing making pictures, when I figure it out, I'll post some.

Just a question: do any here have experience with microtrimming at this length?
I don't see my ends if I put it all in a low ponytail and look down, so I guess I either need help or use a mirror. Any advice?
I'd rather not go to the hairdresser in fear of SLS, cones and too much cutting. But I do want to touch up my ends and slowly get rid of my layers.
