My favorite is SLES by the way.
Anyway maybe with that sulfare free they basically failed the formation. But I've seen I'm not the only one finding that shampoo to dry the hair.

Oooh, I wouldn't keep that sulfate-free one around then... Maybe demote it to handwash! It's what I do with "old" bodywash, and shampoo that I absolutely don't like (it's rare, but it happens).

It's not sooo terrible, I'm still able to use it, so I'll use it up and then I'll see it never again.
Re: Who here washes with sulfates?!
I voted for Sometimes. I do, usually, when I do a full wash, but that's only every couple of weeks; if I have to wash more often (scalp washes in between) then I use something sulphate-free. My scalp is picky and it's on a product-by-product basis whether it tolerates them or not. Harsh sulphates are an absolute no-no, but it seems infrequent sulphates can be okay. Even sulphate-free can make my scalp unhappy, either because of the product itself or because of the frequency - but I still gravitate towards sulphate-free because they're less likely to irritate my scalp, and the only product it doesn't mind every 2 or 3 days if need be is a gentle sulphate-free shampoo.
Re: Who here washes with sulfates?!
I definitely voted a long time ago, and that vote (yes) has not changed one bit. Basically a good thing, means I found a routine and am sticking to it rather well. :)
Re: Who here washes with sulfates?!
I voted anything with cheese :p but mostly because I use sulphates in almost every wash but I also have some sulphate free shampoos that I like to use from time to time. It's kind of random to be honest, most of the times I use shampoo with sulphates but sometimes I feel like going back to some cowash I had or trying a new sulphate free shampoo.
Re: Who here washes with sulfates?!
Only to clarify. Its nice having it on hand if needed.
Re: Who here washes with sulfates?!
I probably do because I don't check for that stuff. It doesn't really matter which shampoo I use, they all produce the same result.

It must be nice to live in a world where your scalp isn't picky. :)

Oh I see the scalp is what causes problems? Sorry to hear it.
It might be because my scalp is dry. It doesn't really produce any oil. Not sure if that's the reason.
Basically the oil on my scalp is whatever oil I bought and put on it...lol.
That's usually argan oil or sometimes coconut oil.
