Re: Using Indian Herbs and Oils to grow, Grow, GROW!
I will wash with egg today.
It is like my scalp and hair like rotation.
My scalp starts to itch when I stick to the same routine for too long (not at all as bad as from CO ro SL(E)S).
And it is easy to build up, or use too stripping cleanser if using the same all the time.
What do you others use when Indian herb build up or starts feeling "not working as good"? SLS, egg, other composition of Indian herbs (maybe just shikakai or just aritha)?
I won't be using anything that makes my cuticle rise.
Right now my scalp is wanting egg (sulphur) so I go for that this week.
Re: Using Indian Herbs and Oils to grow, Grow, GROW!
Has anyone added some essential oils to their hair oil? I believe I have the Bhringaraj oil?

Yes, you'll need the shikakai for the cleansing effect. Amla and cassia are for conditioning.

I found an Indian store but they do not carry all I need. Where do you ladies order on the web???

I haven't had that happen yet! Just the opposite, I tried doing the CO wash thing, and I had to run back to the herbs to get my hair nice again!

Oh.
I haven't compared CO and IHW.
CO makes not my scalp much better than SL(E)S, which means much sebum.
Egg is a bit like clarifying to me, but maybe using soapnut liquid or just shikakai+aritha powder could do the same.
Especially when I used amla and much methi with my herbs, it made some build up. Like the powdered got stuck with the remaining oils, cause it get lost real easy if I wash the oils out.
Mybe it is hard to find ONE and ONLY way to wash hair. Weather differs, and so do scalp and others. And it is hard to get EXACT correct proportions, often it is a tiny bit too much (or less) of something that will get itself noticed over time.
With SL(E)S nothing was left to be too much, but hair was TOO DRY all the time.
The build up from Indian herbs has done nothing bad to my hair.
Re: Using Indian Herbs and Oils to grow, Grow, GROW!
Can anyone suggest me a mixture with these things available :
Dried Amla pieces
Amla powder
Ritha powder
Fenugreek powder
Maybe I can make a paste with one tsp of ritha and two tsp of amla since ritha can be drying?
Is it possible to make a blend of coconut oil boiled with the amla pieces and store it, because I know they make Coconut and amla oil like that i India but they use fresh amla.

My shampoo has sles. It can be a bit drying if I use too much but nothing drastic. I have used it for years with no problems or build-up. Catnip following it has kept my hair great and improved it. It is just a matter of the amount of shampoo I use.

Hi !
I like Indian hair care. I use biologic hair care like coconut oil, henna, castor oil. It's very good for the hair.
I make sometimes a
mixture of natural products that I apply on my hair
