I didn't officially join this thread, but I didn't trim so far this year (last time was July 2022, when my dreadlocks were cut off, combed out, and cut into a longish bob) and I don't feel the urge yet, so I'm pretty sure I'll last the rest of the year. ;)
However, my ends are still a bit all over the place; barely any splits, but they have square-ish bends in all directions.
My hair is currently between APL and BSL and I'm thrilled to be able to put it up in various ways again, do a somewhat proper braid (that isn't so short that it keeps poking itself inside my shirt, or 'stand' on the collar etc) so I don't want to lose any length just yet.
At the same time, at some point, I would like to get rid of the frizzy last 5 cm (~ 2 inch) or so, and go from a by now rather ragged straight hemline to a more U-shaped one....
We'll see, I might start microtrimming some time next spring or so.
Or perhaps I'll continue being lazy and have another accidental no-trim year next year! ;)
