Couldn’t have said that better :D.

I know at the end of the year I'll possibly be cutting some layers out, they are just very annoying, but that is only if I make it past cbl, I'd hate to deal with the awkward stage ever again.

Thank you o.r. and ioanaxena! :smooch:
To be fair, in the after my hair is laying straighter, after being combed and smushed through. But I agree that it looks (and feels) much better! ;)

Sleepy Tangles Your cut came out really nice! It only looks about an inch shorter, and yet your hemline looks so full now (straight hemlines are my favourite for that). You'll be back to APL in no time. ;)

That's a good plan, the awkward stage can definitely test your patience!
If you don't mind me offering my opinion, maybe you could make trimming plans as an accomplishment if you make a length milestone? You can not trim unless you pass a milestone and can maintain it. So, you could wait to trim until you reach SL. Then again after you reach CBL and then APL? Maybe grow 1/2" past, then trim back to each milestone as you pass it? So, anytime you do trim, you are not feeling like you are back-tracking, you hopefully would still be proud of your recent length milestone. Just a thought. :)
I know you can make it past CBL, Bat! Just hang in there. ;)

That is a great idea! if I fail no trims I'll do that it that way. Thank you for the suggestion.
Re: Calling all who are growing shoulder to APL!
I was hoping to hit APL by the end of the year but decided to have a trim in December and lost a couple of centimetres. This is my hair today, I cropped the photo at APL. I solemnly swear not to have a trim until July. The plan is to go trim-free even further but I'll assess the situation in July.

It's very close still! :cheer:
You'll be there way before June, I think.

I certainly hope so! I was just looking at old hair photos to convince myself that hair is actually growing even if it doesn't feel like it. This is pretty much the longest my hair has ever been and I can't wait to see what BSL or longer looks like on me!

I hope that photo will be me at the end of the year xD
