I've been looking around the past ...I guess it's been a few weeks now, but I haven't posted anything yet. I thought I'd introduce myself, and ask a couple of questions.
So, hi! I'm over in Portland, OR. I haven't had a hair cut in over 2 years, but that was more out of neglect than intention. My hair is just about to what you'd call "natural waist", I think. (ETA: the uncertanty is over the term, not the length. :p)
Before I heard of LHC, my hair was super dry and looked really unhealthy. Reading through the posts, I heard someone (unfortunately, I can't remember who, or I would thank them) mention condition-shampoo-condition routine, and while my hair is still a little drier than I'd like, it's improved leaps and bounds over what it was before.
My problem is, I still have shampoo build-up from before. Is there a way to get this out without drying my hair out more?
I've also run into a few problems on the site someone might be able to help with - I can't see any pictures posted to threads. Is this just me (and something I should talk to the mods with) or is there some kind of initiation newbies have to go through?
Also, when I try to look at my profile I get an error message:
