    KEY: Com levels: 0=non-comedogenic; 5=highly comedogenic
    • NOTE: The acne detective site recommends that those with problem skin avoid oils with a level of 3 or more; however, just because an oil has a tendency to be comedogenic doesn’t mean you can’t use it at all—use it in combination with other oils, or make sure it is all washed off and followed with a low comedogenicity oil. They would also be safe to use in areas where acne is not a problem (legs, feet, hands, eye area, etc.).

    Wheat Germ Oil (Triticum vulgare)
