I love Taylor Swift's fringe

http://static.culturemap.com/site_media/uploads/photos/2012-01-05/Taylor_Swift_head_shot_hair_pulled_back.800w_600h. jpg I like how here, it looks like it could be brushed to the side, or be straight on
But then,
http://helensstyle.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/taylor-swift-043.jpg I love the blunt cut kind of style too.

Here is a shot of her face with no fringe

and here is a shot of mine (much less glamour) with and without the fringe:

My main delemia is that I love to wear hats in the fall, and I like a fringe that looks good with and without head wear. I had a blunt cut fringe when I was very young, and I remember hating it poking me in the eyes (hence why I like swift style #1)

what do you all think? Could I even pull off that style?

You have beautiful hair!! Plus, you have a nice, sculpted face . . . look at those cheekbones!! I love "fringe" as I have them myself. They ARE a commitment, though. Would you be willing to lose your length and part of your ponytail to have bangs? Many people who cut them in love them for a few months and then decide they didn't like them after all and grow them back.

Growing out bangs is a PITA! But then, it is hair and will grow back. I think you would look gorgeous either way!!

They're a commitment but I'm a fan of bangs. You could try them hair does grow and the Taylor Swift bangs are awesome.

I would say start with side swept if you are going to do it.
If you change your mind you could always go straight across.

This! Straight across can be a heap of work. I cut bangs about 6 months ago, and while I love how they look, I hate that I have to wash my bangs in the sink beofre the rest of my hair is ready to be washed (they get oily so much faster than the rest of my hair) and... if they are not working one day, I have to figure out a way to pull them back or push them to the side (a look I am rocking today...)

I have a side fringe now ^-^ it's just longer so it blends in now, it wasn't quite as short as yours is in your avatar though Akilina. I'm getting ready to get it trimmed which is why I'm pondering other styles. I thought the first cut looked kind of like a transition between straight and side. I'm just not sure if it'll look horrendous on me >.< I have a middle part so I think my side swept gets kinda wierd looking sometimes *prods hair* it doesn't like to side part no matter how often I prod it. I'm bad at judging hairstyle kind of stuff. I've always had straight boring hair, so I think it's kinda fun to mess with my fringe, I'm kinda worried too about the hair causing pimples, but currently it does not with how it sits to the side, so I think it'll be ok (I have pretty dry skin)

I personally love the style no 1 and actually I'm rocking a very similar fringe at the moment :D
Hope you don't mind, I found myself free to use the picture you uploaded and tried to photoshop the fringe onto it, so you can have a better idea. It's really done crude and in a few minutes, but I hope it will help you. Good luck!

Hm I think I'm going to do it! I mean it would only be a few months before they grow out. I suppose I should consult the husband first, or do you think I should suprise him?

I've had bangs for years now. I tend to shift between blunt cut and side swept. Currently I'm wearing blunt bangs but I'm thinking of growing them out to side swept again. XD

I love both those fringes, try the first then you can always go for the second if you prefer. Mine is short and blunt but I'm now thinking of trying out the first one, I love how it frames her face (I need something face-framing).
