I wanna show you my little before and after ..

Before was after my first co wash. No product. Just started reading on here about treatments.

After is two weeks later. I've been co wading and using oils before bed . As well as using monistat to increase growth. And I just did my first cassia treatment. ( my hair is damp underneath)

I love how your hair sits at the front in the fourth shot - it's gorgeous!
I would love my hair to do that. Lovely colour too!

How are you finding co washing? You're liking it I am guessing?

Thanks! I do have layers and old highlights from last summer. I love c.o. Washing! I used to do it about ....9 years ago, did for a year or so, for no reason switched back to shampoo and conditioner but haven't used cones since. My hair loves this! It so much softer and not dry. I just have to figure out how much oil to use for during the day. It's hard to find the perfect amount. But my hair feels clean but not stripped. It's the perfect balance for me

Thanks mintchocchip and 1nuitblanche... I'm one of those whonhave had wavy hair for years but just thought it was extra poofy straight hair...brushing it too much. It's easier when you work with it haha

It's much softer , even more so now that I use a bit of oil. Olive oil seems to work really well with my hair...
Thank you! I can't wait for it to be longer. I love the feeling of long hair!

I'm curlier than yourself but at one stage I was about the same as you are at the back of my hair.
This came out naturally for me at the point where I gave up heat on it I think - it was a few years ago.
If you like the curls/waves coming out (and there is clearly more volume since using co) then try ditching the brush and just use a wide toothed comb.

Your waves/curls fall so beautifully that I feel like grabbing any kind of brush right out of your hand! Lol!

I haven't yet got the hang of oils. I can use them one day and be fine and then the next day (with a co wash in between) and my length looks greasy - even if I only use a tiny amount. I think my hair is too fine for it - or maybe I just over do it always.
I do love coconut oil as a pre-shamppo treatment though - but I heavily oil it then.

Wow. Your hair has changed in two weeks.

I hope it continues to transform! You all are such an inspiration. I'm excited to see what it looks like long and wavy. Hopefully with more cassia treatments and longer hair, my frizz will go away.

It looks healthier after the two weeks, but it still looked nice in the before photos.

Drastic improvement and such pretty hair!

Sounds like your curls really benefited from the extra moisture. They look super lush now. :)

Lovely hair! Have you experienced much growth with the monistat? Unfortunately I seem to be the poor sod whose hair refuses to grow with mn! Hope it goes better for you!
