My turn, bangs or no bangs?

I've been debating this on and off for months. Should I cut bangs again? I have a round/square face and so the internet says bluntish bangs are a huge no-no... but my forehead is just so freaking large. And I'm not sure what to do. I always wear my glasses .. Do bangs just make my face look wider?

Would you consider growing them out and using clip ins? Best of both worlds! You look super cute with bangs, but they limit what styles you can do with your hair. They look great with your hair out, but kind of interfere with a lot of updos. I love retro hair and bangs can make doing liberty rolls really hard if they're too short, though you can end up with a whole other retro style if you keep them short! I think I'd keep them, but sometimes grow them out to side swept.... just for more versatility.

I think that without glasses you look fantastic with blunt bangs, but with glasses, you look cuter with side-swept ones like in the second "no bangs" picture :)

I say bangs without glasses and not bangs with glasses.

Glasses and bangs together give you a bit of a wide face, but bangs alone make you look super cute.
You look more serious in the pics with glasses and no bangs, which can also be a good look.

I usually don't like bangs, because they are another layer of hair that's difficult to grow out if they look like somebody made a BIG mistake.... Don't work on me a-tall!

I agree with several others who said don't get heavy bangs, and not too blunt, either. I've found that bangs on the long side that curve from shortest in the very middle to longer at the temples are very flattering on a round/square face.

Ah opinions; we're all entitled. I don't like the side-swept bangs much, although it's a useful style for growing-out bangs.

Thanks all. I currently have the grown out ones (bottom pictures). I have like an inch of forehead on the top of my head before my hairline starts, so it reflects light like a balding man and makes me self conscious. I think I'll cut the bangs back once it starts to cool off and the humidity goes away, so that they'll stay styled. Bangs seemed to have the overwhelmingly majority of the vote. :p

I also took the plunge and ordered clip-in bangs since its my birthday. Those'll get me through the next month or so of gross weather.
