cassis + henna ? :confused:

Hi :)
I've been browsing the forum for a while, mainly the henna/indigo/cassis part, and I was wondering if it would be possible to achieve platinum blond hair like this (http://www.beautifulhairstyles.com/prom/strapless/pictures/070503scarlettjohansson.jpg) with cassis or something ??

Also, if I want to get orangish/strawberry blond hair like this (http://www.haircolorsideas.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/orange-hair-color-idea.jpg), or this (http://www.haircolorsideas.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/strawberry-hair.jpg) for a more natural look, what should I use, considering I have natural/virgin light brown hair ? My guess would be something like 50% cassis, 50% henna but I would like an opinion since I never used any of these products :p

No, you can't get hair that light without bleach.
Cassia can only add yellow-ish tones to the color you already have, which may or not be visible depending on how light of color you have.

You will not be able to achieve either of the colors that you are referring to in your post cassia is colorless unless you have blonde hair already and then it can just brighten it up some and henna is going to give you red, mixing the two will give you different tones of red depending on your starting color and % of you mixture. I hope that make sense I'm sure someone with more experience will be along to add in their :twocents: I hope this helps you a little,I'm not a expert by any means :D

You can never go lighter with henna (and henna is very *red*), not even with cassia (it will add golden blonde tones to white or *very* light blonde hair). On light brown hair you can never reach a strawberry blonde, only a vibrant dark copper to *red* red.

Only bleach can listen hair, in my experience I got daffodil yellow hair but it felt nice!!
